Holeshot Performance
Fork Brace & Steering Damper

Dale Walker of Holeshot Performance came up with this sweet fork brace for the 2001+ Bandits. The 5-piece design makes installation very easy, and pretty much eliminates the possibility if stiction in the forks during installation. The brace really firms up the front-end, and effectively removes the mild wallowing experienced when riding aggressively. The brace is constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, and utilizes stainless steel hardware.

The 2001 Bandits, with their sharper steering geometry, tend to get a little wild when the power is really applied or the rear-end is weighted down. The Holeshot steering damper adds greater control and stability, and corrects the head-shaking effect when the front-end gets light. For the aggressive rider, this is ideal for powering out of a slow corner as it almost eliminates the chances of a tank-slapper. The damper also increases the riders endurance by reducing fatigue, and soaking up road inconsistancies that would normally make the front tire wander. The damper unit is 7 position adjustable, with a heavy duty chromoly shaft, and high grade aluminum alloy body. The damper is fully rebuildable.
